Second Teacher Residence Completed!

Many thanks to the wonderful builders in Mtaya & our generous donors for the successful completion of the second teacher residence! In addition to their stipend, teachers will be given a beautiful home to live in while they work for the Community School (as is customary in Zambia). Please check back for pictures of these homes!

Yesterday, members of our Board of Directors packed for Carolyn’s upcoming trip to Mtaya. Items included school supplies, jewelry-making supplies, and pillowcases from our recent collection drive. The ladies in the village sewing group will soon turn these pillowcases into dresses for the girls who attend our school.
